Waterfire Infrared

Waterfire, Providence RI photoset in infrared. The photos in this series are not Photoshopped or the result of some instagram filter. They are photos of the invisible infrared light spectrum as captured by the camera, the color shifts from picture to picture come from the different light sources, fire, incandescent lights, the night sky, in combination with changing the white color balance settings of the camera. Notice how almost everyone is wearing the same yellow colored clothing… natural fibers like wool and cotton reflect infrared.
